2016年にジェフ・ミルズと浜離宮朝日ホールに集まった人々との「THE TRIP」を経て、COSMIC LABのミッションは意識を拡張させる空間を創出すること、つまりその為のヴィジュアル装置の開発と表現の追及だという確信が更に深まった。
人の意識を生み出す脳と宇宙の構造は似ているという説がある。もし、宇宙が誰かの脳なのであれば、宇宙を探究することは、人間の精神を探究することなのかもしれない。

今作品は、宇宙の最果てブラックホールへの旅であり、最も深い精神の内面へと誘うライブ・エクスパンデッド・シネマである。
8年の時を経て進化したヴィジュアル装置と最上級の音響設備がインストールされたZepp Shinjuku (TOKYO)に、音楽、ヴィジュアル、ファッション、身体表現が織り成す総合芸術が１日限り出現する。

Jeff Mills has never wallowed in his DJ status and kept on multiplying outstanding performances, at the intersection between music, contemporary art, pop culture, design and science fiction, while running his own record label, Axis Records, since 1992 onwards. After conquering Detroit's early Techno scene as The Wizard in the 80s, as a part of the Underground Resistance, he took up with his prime inspiration, Space and Science-Fiction. The 2000's marked a turning point, when he started to merge his music with other artforms. He decided to create a new soundtrack for Fritz Lang's "Metropolis", which brought him to many other cine-mix performances and movies soundtracks. As a plastician, Jeff Mills has shown numerous of his performances and exhibitions in artistic institutions such as the CCCB of Barcelona, the South Bank Center, the Barbican Center, the Cinémathèque Française, Pompidou Center, the Art Fair Monte Carlo…
Decorated in 2007 with the French Government award of Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters, Mills was upgraded in 2017 to be Officer, in recognition for his contribution to the Arts, such as the residency at the Louvre Museum.
In 2020 during the pandemic, he started to curate the project called “The Escape Velocity” under which talents from all over the world release Sci-Fi/ Space Science themed music.
C.O.L.O(COSMIC LAB)
The Live Visual Artist who founded COSMIC LAB. C.O.L.O stands for Cosmic Oscillation Luminary Operator. He massages the boundaries between the conscious and the unconscious by oscillating with optical reality, which is reconstructed after stripping the meaning from visual information and deconstructing it to the level of light. Through projects such as "Koyasan, 1200 Years of Light" in which projection mapping was combined with the chants of more than 100 Buddhist monks, and "FINALBY( )" with ∈Y∋ (BOREDOMS), C.O.L.O's deepened his interest in the post-XR (expanded reality) domain. Through which he constructed a visual system in which the boundaries between the physical and the virtual disappear. It is at ZEROTOKYO that this original live visual system has been permanently installed.

Jun Togawa
Born in Shinjuku, 1961. Singer and actress. After working as a member of GUERNICA, released "Tamahime-sama" and "Suki Suki Suki" as a solo artist, and “YAPOOS Keikaku" and "Dial Y wo Mawase! etc. as YAPOOS. Her recent work is "YAPOOS' Suspicious Behavior in the First Year of the Reiwa”. She has appeared in films such as "Tsuribaka nisshi (1-7)”. She directed, wrote, and starred in "Ikaishita Baby". Her appearances in TOTO Washlet commercials have also been well received. Her books include "Jun Togawa's Feelings," "Sap Suru, I am a Woman of Insects," "Jun Togawa Zen Lyric Commentary Collection: Shippu Doto Tokidoki Hare," "Peepo & Mee," and "Jun Togawa's Life Consultation: What Should I Do, Jun-chan" (co-authored with Shinichi Yamaguchi).
Hiroaki Umeda
Since 2002, Hiroaki Umeda's choreography has been invited around the world including Chaillot National Theater in Paris, with performances in over 150 cities in 40 countries. He was commissioned from and choreographed for festivals and companies such as Götenborgs Operans Danskompani and L.A Dance Project. His work goes beyond dance and choreography, encompassing sound, video and lighting design. In recent years, he has also produced installations focusing on physical sensation. His installations have been presented in 21_21 DESIGH SIGHT, NTT Inter Communication Center [ICC] and many other international festivals around the world.
Umeda has been the house choreographer of Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No.1 for two years from 2022.
Hiromichi Ochiai
(FACETASM)
Hiromichi Ochiai was born in Tokyo. After graduating from Bunka Fashion College in 1999, he worked at textile company Guildwork for 8 years. In 2007, he founded FACETASM. The brand name “FACETASM” is a neologism of the word “facet” which refers to one side of something many-sided. A side of one object and the back of that same object might have a totally different meaning.
From Spring/Summer 2007, FACETASM collections were shown in the form of a presentation during Tokyo Fashion Week. He won the New Face Award at the 31st Mainichi Fashion Awards in 2013. Hiromichi Ochiai was in charge of the costume design for the Rio Olympics closing ceremony "Flag Handover Ceremony" in 2016. That year he was nominated for the 3rd LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize, as the first Japanese finalist ever. And received the "Grand Prize" at the 34th Mainichi Fashion Awards. Currently FACETASM presents its collection twice a year with a show during Men's Fashion Week in Paris.
